The Jacksonville State Marching Southerners Color Guard will be having PRE CAMP
for incoming freshmen and current students who wish to audition for the 2005 JSU
Color Guard. If you have any intention of auditioning for the 2005 JSU Fall
guard, YOU NEED TO BE AT THIS CAMP.
Camp fee will be $25.00 (Non refundable).

What will be covered at this camp?
This pre camp will cover everything you will need to know to audition for the
2005 JSU Color Guard. This will include spins (flag and weapon), releases,
exercises and the short passage from the 2005 program “muy caliente” that you
will be required to perform for the official auditions in August.
· Why are
we having camp this early?
In the past , we have been able to have a New member camp just before Band Camp.
This camp would normally last about 2 days. This year, we are starting later
than normal. Therefore, we will be putting two days worth of instruction into one
day.
· What will we need
to bring to the pre camp?
o You will need to bring the following to pre camp”
§ Flag, Rifle, or Sabre
§ Water Cooler
§ Very cool clothing
§ Money for food (food will not be provided)
§ Blank Cassette Tape
§ A Very, Very Good Attitude
